In partnership with Boy Scouts of America, the Explorer Program provides young men and women the opportunity to study the field of law enforcement and community service first-hand.
The Explorer Program is a career development program,

which emphasizes academic study, character development, and self-discipline. Explorers also assist police and city personnel at functions where they may be called upon for a variety of tasks, such as distributing information, fingerprinting children, or assisting in searches of missing children, just to name a few. Each year, the Explorers contribute approximately 2,000 volunteer hours towards study and community service to the Police Department and the City of Pine Bluff.
