Homicide
On January 26, 2026, just after 2:00 P.M., Officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to 2405 W. 24th for a shooting. On arrival, Officers found 23-year-old female Jurnea Stanley unresponsive. Stanley had an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body and was later pronounced dead at the scene. Also present at the scene was 25-year-old Michael Johnson. Johnson was transported to the detective office for questioning. Johnson was transported to the Jefferson County Jail after questioning and booked for 2nd Degree Murder.
