The mission of the Detective Division is to provide the highest quality of service and investigative support to the victims of felony crimes. Our objectives are to use 21st Century investigative techniques to identify and apprehend criminal offenders.

This team of investigators is highly trained, and specialize in all levels of felony criminal activity in this jurisdiction.

Our Crime Scene Technicians document felony crime scenes and serious traffic accidents in our city. They photograph, measure, identify and collect forensic evidence; and maintain the proper chain of custody for all evidence.

This unit supports the community and the department through professional crime scene investigation, scientific analysis and preservation of property and evidence.
